Disney + Barney's New York

Disney and Barney's New York collaborated to create this ADORABLE video called Electric Holiday!  The intersection between fashion and cartoons makes me so very happy.  Hope you enjoy the cuteness as much as I did :).

Grain Eyewear

Grain Eyewear makes handmade sunglasses from wood in their Philadelphia workshop.  And I have to admit, these are some of the dopest shades I've seen in a while!  I want The Lola (pictured above) for myself - love that honey wood color (I'm guessing that's the Cuban Mahogany).

Here are the rest of the current designs that are equally as cool.  I can't wait to see what other eyewear and accessories they come up with!

Chevronapalooza!

I can't get enough of Chevron right now!  And it's been a thing for a while now, so I figured it was time for a product round up.  It's a great way to spice up your home and personal style. Several of these items I have purchased, so I can vouch for them personally :).

Just got these chevron rings from ASOS. Great to mix & match! $17
These mixed metal chevron rings are new from ASOS.  Also $17!

Slanted Zig Zag dress from Tobi.  Love this site! Great sales! $51

Chevron rug from Urban Outfitters, $44 - $199

Chevron necklace from Scarlett Garnet.  I had the chain lengthened, and I wear this piece all the time! $68

Chevron iPhone case from Crafic, $19.99

Neutral chevron pillow from Nestables, $20

Golden Globes 2012 Recap

The Golden Globes red carpet is always the best... maybe a close 2nd to the Met Gala. Either way, this is an event where celebrities take chances.  Sometimes it works... and sometimes it doesn't.  Here are some examples of each, in my opinion.

Rocker Chic - these ladies put a little extra 'bad ass' into their looks on Sunday!

Selma Hayek in Gucci
Claire Dane in J Mendel
Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci
Weird. Sorry. - these are the looks that were just horrible.  Chances gone wrong, perhaps?  Or just bad stylists...

Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen - unflattering. gray hair. that is all.
Piper Perabo in Theyskens' Theory - she seemed drunk on the red carpet, but at least she was having fun!
Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhullier - I love a good tie dye, but not in an evening gown.
Angelina Jolie in Versace - I know a lot of people probably disagree with me here, but I just do NOT like this combination of Ivory and Red.  I think it washes her out and she's not curvy enough to pull off that cut.
Simply elegant - just beautiful ladies in simply beautiful dresses!

Emma Stone in Lanvin - the make up, the color, the accessories! Love. Her.
Charlize Theron in Dior
Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein
We'll see if I get around to recapping any of the other award shows... Happy Tuesday!

Western Wedding

So, I've been working on my wedding album with my photographer all week, and it's made really start to reminisce...

Then, the thought of weddings made me think of these amazing wedding photos I saw a couple weeks ago!  The below photos are of David Lauren's (son of Ralph Lauren) wedding to Lauren Bush (granddaughter to President Bush Sr.).  The ceremony and reception took place at the Lauren Family's Double RL Ranch in Colorado (relatively close to where we got married).

Isn't that dress (by Ralph Lauren, of course) just immaculate?!

The reason to get married in the mountains.

Horse and buggy, duh!

The same photo gallery included some absolutely gorgeous engagement photos.  I love the simplicity of these images - very classic without any sort of gimmick needed.

All photos featured in Vogue

All in all, stunning photos. But one question remains... is her name now Lauren Lauren??  Somebody had to ask!  Have a great weekend, y'all.

Fall Nail Polish

I love love love nail polish.  As I'm packing up my toiletries to move into our new house, I'm quickly realizing my obsession may be somewhat unhealthy.  But you know what? I don't care.

I love Refinery 29's round-up of Fall Nail Polish today.  I think my first purchase will be in the "Rust" realm.  Here are a few examples from the hip color guide, but head over to Refinery 29 for the whole shebang.

Missoni for Target.

I've seen bits and pieces about this line - coming to Target stores on September 13th - for a while now.  But I finally found a site that shows all the items in one place! Woooohoooo!

Surprisingly (or maybe not),  I want the accessories more than any of the clothing items.  Here's my current wishlist....

Cute dress for Fall/Winter

Love these scarf patterns - how cute with a white top and trench coat?!

Adorable laptop sleeve to go with the new Macbook that I desperately need

I need new luggage too.  This would be so easy to spot on a baggage carousel!

If I had a bike this cute, I might actually learn how to ride it ;). THERE, you know my secret.

Adorbs!

Adorbs again!

I'll see y'all at Target in September.... have a great weekend, loverbeans.

I want red pants bad. Real bad.  How chic do these ladies look?!

And look at these in red LEATHER....

Happy Friday, everyone!

I miss H&M.

One thing about NYC that I'm definitely missing right now is H&M.  And WHY, God why, do they not allow you to order online?!?  Here are a few shots from their Fall 2011 Lookbook that I'm just loving.  Perhaps, I need to make a weekend field trip to St. Louis...

Also, don't you just love the dark lipstick? I bet Chanel's Rouge Noir would do the trick!

I adore these little matchstick drop earrings from St. Kilda!

They are made out of brass and enamel, and they come with 8 different color "match" tips!  So cute and unique for everyday wear.  Happy Monday, everyone!
